In 2007, the federal government is offering grants for new innovative research ideas from small (even new) high-tech businesses. There are 11 agencies involved in the SBIR (Small Business Innovative Research) grant program offering funding in a variety of areas including bioscience, defense, education, energy and many other areas that fit in with Colorado innovative entrepreneurs.
