Understand what do people want, what do they need
1569_ 6/23/14 - We are at the Mountain Desert Region EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalists Reception at the Governor's Mansion here in Denver, Colorado, speaking with Andrew Wyant, President, General Manager of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the global leader in the health and fitness industry. NASM is really in the online education business and they focus on personal trainings. If you go to the gym and see a personal trainer, they have to go through a certification process. NASM is involved in delivering the online education that gets them ready for that certification exam, prepares them for jobs and gets them working. Andrew tells us they are really in the fitness and wellness space. it's not just about exercise alone, it can be about diet, it can be about wellness and there are great opportunities for us to keep building this business by helping Americans get in shape. NASM has been around for 25 years and is founded in good exercise science. But what we were able to do was take a great product and start to market it to America. .
