We interviewed John Griffith, president of Alpine Waste & Recycling, which has built a company with consistently growing revenues and increasingly influential presence in the Denver area’s waste and recycling industries. John founded Alpine in 1999 and began signing up customers even before the company had a truck. He spent three-and-a-half months as Alpine’s sole employee and nine months as Alpine’s sole salesperson.
